Allianz and LV win big at 2019 British Insurance Awards: Full list of winners

Achievement Award

Allianz was among the big winners at the 25th British Insurance Awards at the Royal Albert Hall scooping three individual awards including General Insurer of the Year.

It also shared the Transformational Deal of the Year with LV, which itself picked up three other awards including Personal Lines Insurer of the Year.

In terms of the special 25th anniversary awards voted for the audience, Aviva was named the Best of the Best Insurer, and Ardonagh Group the Best of the Best Broker.

The Insurance Personality of the Year was Axa managing director, underwriting and technical services David Williams and Achievement Award winner was Annette Court, pictured.

The host was comedian Paul Chowdhry and Rick Astley provided the musical finale with a 50 minute set thrilling the 2000 attendees.
