Winners of Insurance Post Claims and Fraud Awards 2025 revealed

Held at The Brewery in London, comedian Jen Brister entertained 500 attendees before the gongs were handed out, culminating in Insurance Fraud Bureau executive director Ursula Jallow, pictured,  winning the Achievement Award. 

Trailing Jallow’s win, Brister said: “[Our winner is] someone who joined the insurance industry in 1998 from the retail sector  and has spent the subsequent years fighting fraud and financial crime in its many guises.

“From Churchill to RBSI to LV, this person has become one of the pre-eminent figures in the insurance industry’s battle against fraud, as highlighted by the impressive list of industry-wide groups they have been involved with - from the IFB to the Association of British Insurers; Cifas to [City of London Police’s] Insurance Fraud Enforcement Department, alongside joining the All Party Parliamentary Group on Pension Scams.”

Brister concluded: “Most recently our Achievement Award winner joined the IFB on a short-term contract in July 2022; and having been instrumental is defining a new IFB strategy she was appointed to the permanent position of executive director in September the same year.”
