Insurance Marketing and PR Awards 2017: Winners

Aviva, Axa, Co-op and More Than were among winners at Insurance Marketing and PR Awards

Co-op Insurance picked up two awards for digital marketing and social media influence at the Insurance Marketing and PR Awards today.

Ingenie also picked up two awards, one for its brand and another for Honor Clement-Hayes, who was declared Young Marketer/PR Employee of the Year.

Elsewhere, the chief communications officer at the Motor Insurers’ Bureau Shavaun Glen was given the prize for being the Industry Champion of the Year; and Caroline Wagstaff picked up the prestigious Achievement Award.

Before Caroline came to the stage to pick up her award, host Jonathan Swift said she had been acclaimed by the judges for spending the last 25 years immersing herself in the financial and professional services, including commodity trading, spread-betting, accountancy, money broking, legal services and most recently commercial insurance.

“This included five years as head of marketing and communications at Lloyd’s – seeing the organisation through its largest-ever fraud trial and September 11,” Swift added

“Since then she built a respected practice in this sector – working for some of the world’s leading insurance businesses; drawing on both her expertise in crisis comms and helping clients identify issues and messages and then communicating them consistently across the right channels.”
