Motor Insurance World Live video presentation: Same problem, new challenges; tackling motor fraud in 2020

Allianz has been tackling fraud for over a decade with savings increasing year-on-year for the last ten years.

In this short video session the insurer’s head of fraud James Burge will outline the trends it has seen over the last 12 months, with opportunistic/exaggeration and phantom passengers among the most prominent.

He will then highlight some of these trends, including ghost broking and – one of its most recent areas of focus - application fraud, with examples of successful cases it has run.
