As part of its efforts to promote the insurance technology community, Insurtech UK will be partnering with Post for the new awards programme.

Launched last week, the British Insurance Technology Awards (BITAs) recognise trailblazing companies and individuals reshaping the landscape, driving digital transformation, and revolutionising how the market operates.

"Insurtech UK wants to highlight the achievements of the insurtech sector and partnering on these awards provides an ideal opportunity to do just that. Insurtech should be recognized as a separate sector in its own right, not as a subset of fintech, and these awards highlight the size and importance of this distinct market.”

Support

“It is fantastic to have Insurtech UK’s support on the inaugural BITAs,” added Jack Grocott, brand director, Insurance Post. “We designed these awards so that we can recognise those in the market that is helping it operate more efficiently, more transparently, more judiciously and with Insurtech UK’s support, we believe we can set a new industry standard for excellence.”

Entering the BITAs is free and is open to insurers, brokers, MGAs and third-party vendors.

The deadline for entries is 23 February 2024 with the winners announced on 18 June at the London Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square.
