Post launches Driving out Distraction Campaign

Driving out distraction header

At the beginning of the month the current government confirmed it would seek to tighten the law around handheld mobile devices on the road, but will not extend a ban to hands-free use. While Post supports this initial step it believes that the government is not going far enough and with a general election looming this could well get lost in administration.

As Road Safety Week starts Post is, therefore, launching its Driving Out Distraction Campaign to tackle this growing problem which is affecting road safety and lives and asking people to ‘Pay attention and Pull over’. We will be supporting the insurance industry to put pressure on the government to extend these measures and review and increase fines.

Will you get on board with our campaign by signing our pledge?
