Insurance Post’s Best Insurance Employer returns for 2021 – take part

Did your employer go above and beyond to look after its staff during the Covid-19 lockdowns of 2020/2021? Are the perks you receive out of this world? Take part in our survey to give your employer the recognition it deserves.

Insurance Post’s Best Insurance Employer research returns in 2021, seeking the views of staff in UK broking, managing general agent and insurer firms to find out which organisations really go the extra mile for their people. We will revisit the questions asking what employees rate when it comes to choosing their employer and what value staff see in perks and benefits. We’ll also find out what training and development the sector offers, how staff feel about senior management and if they would recommend their employer to a friend.

In addition for 2021 we’ll find out which firms looked out for staff’s mental health during the pandemic, provided home working equipment and extended leave for parents/carers. We’ll ask if employees really care about the management buzzword in 2020 environmental, social, and corporate governance. And finally with reporting suspended for 2020 we’ll ask whether employees take a firm’s gender pay gap into consideration when they rate a business.

Will last year’s top firms have fared as well as in 2020 or will others have risen above to take the crown of Best Insurance Employer? Employers will be granted a star rating depending on how they are rated in a number of categories. Is your employer a four-star firm?

This year will recognise small and mediums firms of under 250 staff and then larger ones of 250 with our top firms featuring at the British Insurance Awards. If you think your employer is the best in the UK, then fill in our survey before 15 May and look out for the full rankings in 2021 and the winner at our black tie ceremony in September.
