David Hertzell, Aviva, Allianz, Axa and QBE among 2016 Insurance Fraud Awards winners

David Hertzell was crowned winner of the achievement award at last night’s Insurance Fraud Awards.

The gong means David has now won the achievement award at three major Post events, having won the prize at both The Claims Awards and British Insurance Awards in 2015.

Unveiling the winner, host Rob Beckett paid homage to David's work leading the Government's fraud task force, where he chaired 16 meetings and four stakeholder roundtables before delivering a 92 page report.

Among the other major winners at the Eighth Insurance Fraud Awards, were Aviva and its staff who picked up a trio of gongs.
