Video: Encouraging telematics take-up in the broker market

why-is-telematics-becoming

Whilst the issue of telematics is written large in the business plans of many insurers, the same cannot be said for brokers.

Whether it is a lack of awareness about the power of the enriched data; fears over relinquishing control of customers; concerns over margins; or the fact it has yet to resonate with the sector, brokers - outside a few major players - have been slower on the uptake.

These were among the discussion points at a recent Post webinar held in conjunction with SSP in advance of the Telematics Event being held in London on the 30 April.

Joining Post editor-in-chief Jonathan Swift in the studio for the discussion were:
Adrian Coupland, SSP
Robert Kelly, Wunelli,
Kenny Leitch, RSA
Nigel Lombard, Drivology
