Watchstone CEO Mukerjee: 'There is no yard sale'

Indro Mukerjee, the outgoing CEO of Watchstone has admitted that while it might have been more “romantic” or “Hollywood” to have grown the business by acquisitions during his two year tenure, it would not have benefited shareholders long term.

Mukerjee who steps down at the end of the year also blasted those who have claimed the group is having a “yard sale” of assets before he leaves, adding that now it is stabilised it could return to M&A
