Asbestos decision: ABI believes government open to reform
Stephen Haddrill, Director General of the ABI, met with John Hutton MP, Secretary of State for Work and Pensions this afternoon in the wake of the UK government's announcement to amend the Compensation Bill.
According to the ABI, the two agreed that it is important for the Government and the insurance industry to work closely together on this issue, and that further options for reform remain on the table
