Household premiums rise 5.9%
AA Insurance said increase relfected rising cost in repairing buildings and claims frequency.
The average quoted premium for an annual home buildings insurance policy rose 5.9 per cent over the fourth quarter of 2009, to £199 in the fourth quarter of 2009 according to the latest AA price index
