Graham Brogden is head of technical claims for property and specialty risks at Aviva.

Brogden has been working at Aviva for almost seven years, and working with them for 12 years prior to that.

Part of the property claims team Brogden was responsible for the technical support team across personal and commercial property claims. More recently he has taken over as the head of technical claims for property and speciality risks and now has responsible for their major loss claims across those sectors.

Brogden lists his 2016 achievements as taking over as chair for an industry wide flood resilience action group. Working with all sectors and building on some of the good work that is already happening, Brogden believes it is the industry's responsibility to encourage more take up and ensure that there are robust standards across the insurance sector.
