ICO fines broker for sending 136,000 unsolicited texts
The Information Commissioner's Office has fined a London-based broker £30,000 for sending thousands of unsolicited text messages.
Oracle Insurance Brokers was found to be responsible for sending around 136,000 texts.
The ICO found that the firm had broken the law because they did not have the consent of the people the text
