Last chance to decide Industry Impact winner at 2021 British Insurance Awards

The British Insurance Awards 2021

The voting is open for you to decide who should win the Industry Impact Award at tomorrow’s British Insurance Awards. But be quick as the poll closes at noon tomorrow.

The British Insurance Awards’ judges have already shortlisted four significant events that happened in the last 12 to 18 months and it is now up to Insurance Post readers to decide on the winner.

This could include the creation of the Association of British Insurers’ Covid-19 Support Fund which has raised over £100m, with £84m having been pledged in voluntary contributions from firms across the insurance sector.

Alternatively you might vote for the Financial Conduct Authority Covid-19 response, including its work on the business interruption test case to expediate payments to policyholders. Finally, we have two mergers and acquisition deals up for the award in Howden’s acquisition of A-Plan, significantly expanding its personal lines and regional footprint; and secondly the purchase of RSA Insurance Group by Tryg A/S and Intact Financial Corporation.

You can use this link to vote for the winner, which will be announced at the British Insurance Awards on 15th September at Battersea Evolution.
