Online video: Commercial property - managing natural disaster risk

Globally, 2011 was a record year for natural catastrophe losses, highlighting flood risk as an issue of major concern for corporates, their brokers and insurers.

It also brought home to many how much impact a localised event could have in terms of a business' operations such as supply chain management.

With this in mind Post in conjunction with FM Global recently held a live interactive webinar which took a look at how the insurance market is addressing these issues; and how risk managers must ensure that employers are as prepared as possible for similar future events to mitigate losses such as business interruption and property damage.

The panel for the discussion included:

Richard Ealey, GI and risk manager, Cobham PLC

Mark Lehmann, MD, catastrophe risk management, SRS, Willis

Stefano Tranquillo, vice president - operations manager, Northern Europe operations, FM Global
