Video: Audatex director insists insurers should accept 80% of subrogated motor claims
Insurers should automatically accept at least four in five of subrogated motor claims.
That is the view of Paul Sykes, sales and operations director for Audatex, as outlined in this video that also addresses the recent Competition Commission report; insurer's appetite for change and the key influencers on repair costs, alongside subrogation.
"There are many insurers that are getting towards that figures in terms of authorising claims for body shops," Sykes said.
"Now if that level of trust can exist with that relationship, I don't see any reason that should not be the target that the insurance industry should be aiming for with subrogated claims," he added.
To join the debate on subrogated claims join others at the Post Motor Claims Conference on 13th February 2014 at Victoria Park Plaza. For more details go to www.postevents.co.uk/motorclaims.
