Asia Technology Awards - Guidelines

About these awards

Entries to the Asia Pacific Insurance Technology Awards are free, online-submission only and consist of five questions per category. The information provided in your awards submission is off-the-record. The awards are open to all technology firms, regardless of their size, location or ownership. Organisations can enter as many categories as they wish, as long as they genuinely believe they meet the criteria listed alongside the categories.

The process

Once the entry submission deadline has passed, all entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges, selected and supported by the Insurance Post editorial team.

Judging criteria

Innovation: The degree to which the technology or solution introduces new ideas, methods, or products that significantly improve the insurance process or customer experience.

Impact: The measurable effect on the insurance industry, such as, but not limited to, improvements in efficiency, cost reduction, customer satisfaction, or market reach.

Implementation: The effectiveness of the product/solution, such as, but not limited to, the challenges faced, solutions developed, and overall success.

Scalability: The potential for the technology to be scaled across different markets or segments within the insurance industry, demonstrating versatility and adaptability.

Submission questions:

• Elevator pitch: In 100 words explain why you should win?
• The client issue/s you addressed (up to 250 words)
• The results/impact (up to 250 words)
• The solution (up to 250 words)
• Testimonials (up to 250 words)

In some cases, judges may decide a particular nominee is better suited for a category other than the one that was originally entered. Judges may move entries from one category to another at their discretion and entrants will be made aware of this.

Each firm may submit a maximum of two entries per category. If more than two entries are submitted, the judges will only evaluate the first two submissions from that firm.
