UK insurers have more than doubled the number of new board appointees with technology expertise over the past year, outpacing their banking and asset management peers.

This is according to EY’s latest Boardroom Monitor, which surveyed 18 UK financial services firms, including six insurers, and 89 firms across Europe about board appointments in the year to the end of
