Bangladesh reinsurer SBC inroduces liability cap
Sadharan Bima Corporation, Bangladesh's only state-owned reinsurer, has put a cap on its liabilities following a host of recent disaster losses.
It is reported that SBC underwrites almost 80% of the country's insurance coverage.
Jakir Hossain, assistant general manager of SBC, told Alertnet that the country's insurance companies provide
