US East coast on alert as tropical storm Danielle gathers pace
At 21:00 UTC on Sunday, 22 August, RMS reports a tropical depression (six) located about 770 miles (1240 km) west of the southernmost Cape Verde Islands in the Atlantic Ocean, developed into the fourth named storm of the 2010 Hurricane Season – Tropical Storm Danielle.
Danielle has developed one day ahead of the average fourth named storm of the season (from 1950 to present).
