Financial services complaints jump above four million

The number of consumer complaints reported by financial services firms has risen 10% since the second half of 2017.

Customers were paid a total of £2.57bn for the first half of 2018. This was an increase of 9% from the second half of 2017, when £2.36bn was paid out.

A total of 4.13 million complaints were recorded

Axa Partners hit with FCA limitations

Following the Which? super complaint, the Financial Conduct Authority has told Axa Partners UK it cannot grow its current customer base without written permission from the regulator.
