Solvency II detractors told to end futile griping

Report highlights complaints against insolvency practitioners

European insurers should stop complaining about the impending regulatory overhaul as they have had ample time to make preparations, according to Old Mutual finance director Phillip Broadley.

Speaking to the Financial Times, Broadley said he was "fascinated by those that are continuing to protest" about the new regime, due to come into force in January 2014.
