Tories: FSA consumer body will not alter plan
The Financial Services Authority has stepped up its intensive supervision goals for 2010, by outlining plans for a new consumer protection committee.
The regulator, which has repeatedly signalled its intent to monitor firms with a greater deal of scrutiny this year, will run the committee alongside the Office of Fair Trading and Financial Ombudsman
