Niall Edwards

Niall Edwards is a partner and head of national motor group, Kennedys.

Edwards qualified in 1998 and has 14 years' experience in all aspects of defendant motor litigation. 

He has played a key role in lobbying government and Parliament on behalf of insurer clients on many aspects of civil reform. He deals with a broad selection of complex motor claims, and large and catastrophic loss motor cases worth over £100,000.

Edward's specialist knowledge is in advising on brain injury cases, fatality claims, complex psychiatric injury claims and ‘primary victim' claims. He also has expertise in statutory declaration, coverage and indemnity issues and has extensive experience in complex and high value associated credit hire and loss of rental revenue claims. Among many other clients and cases, he has acted for a large composite insurer in relation to over 60 appeal and re-trial cases and four test cases in the Court of Appeal, dealing with historic hire rates evidence.
