IBIS 2016: Google has no plans to be dealer or manufacturer of cars

Google joines force with Fiat Chrysler to push driverless car tech

Entering automotive dealership and manufacturing is not the agenda for Google, delegates were assured at IBIS Global Summit 2016 in Barcelona today.

Google industry leader automotive Richard Offermann said: "There is no plan to be a car manufacturer in the future for Google."

He added the firm also does not "have any plans to be [an automotive]
