Biba index shows rise in private car premiums
Broker-led private car policies have seen a significant spike in premiums, according to the latest insurance price index from the British Insurance Brokers’ Association and Acturis.
Of the £5bn in premiums paid annually via brokers, the study showed an 8.6% increase in Q4 2015, compared to the same quarter in 2014.
Taking the increase in insurance premium tax (IPT) into account
