FCA mulling deadline for PPI complaints

The Financial Conduct Authority is to consult on the introduction of a deadline for consumers intending to make a payment protection insurance complaint.

The proposal, if introduced, would mean late complainants would lose their right to have the complaint assessed by firms or the Financial Ombudsman Service. There have been millions of PPI complaints
