Covéa confirms acquisition of Sterling

Covéa’s acquisition of Sterling has been given the green light by the Prudential Regulation Authority.

The French insurance group, which was formed following the 2012 merger of MMA Insurance and Provident agreed to acquire the UK broker from founder Nicholas Cooper in December 2014.

The deal will see
