A-Plan tipped to build branch network in the north following HG backing
The new financial backing secured by A-Plan reflects a vote of confidence in the branch business model, according to market insiders, who have tipped the high-street broker to build a presence outside its southern stronghold.
The retail broker, which is one of the last to operate via high-street branches, revealed on Monday that its majority investor Equistone had sold its stake in the business to UK private equity firm HG
