Besso fined £315 000 by FCA

Broker Besso has been fined £315 000 by the Financial Conduct Authority for failing to take reasonable care to maintain controls against the risks of bribery and corruption.

Besso settled the claim early and was eligible for a 30% discount without which the penalty would have been £450 000.

The FCA found that Besso operated a weak control environment for sharing
