Telematics policies increased 61% in 18 months, Biba research shows
The number of live telematics policies increased by 116 000 between 2012 and 2013, according to research from the British Insurance Brokers’ Association.
There were 296 000 live policies in 2013 up from 180 000 in 2012. The number of telematics providers also increased from 10 in 2012 to 15 in 2013.
