At least 110 million hit by Target data breach

US retailer Target has been left reeling after the discovery that at least 110 million customers had personal details stolen in one of the largest data breaches ever seen.

The company revealed last month that approximately 40 million credit and debit card accounts were impacted by a hack between November 27 and December 15, 2013.

In a statement at the time the retailer
