Senior Wright Indemnity to rebrand as MGB following sale

Lloyd's of London building

Lloyd’s broker Senior Wright's indemnity business will change its name to MGB Insurance Brokers following its acquisition by Manchester Underwriting.

The broker's indemnity business was acquired in late November in a deal that retained joint managing directors Nick Bender and Glenn Gostling.

Announcing the rebrand, Gostling said: "The change to MGB Insurance Brokers is the start of many changes that we are going through to make sure we build on our reputation and provide the service that brokers really want."

Charles Manchester, MGB chairman and Manchester Underwriting chief executive, added: "Changing the name to MGB Insurance Brokers is the very first step on the road to becoming the leading London Market wholesale broker in our specialist classes.

"Nick and Glenn have built a great business and, with the support of brokers, it's going places."
