Portal extension unlikely to bring EL/PL claims surge: Kennedys
Next week’s extension of the Road Traffic Accident portal to include employer’s liability and personal liability claims is unlikely to result in a rapid increase in claims according to law firm Kennedys, following counteremeasures introduced by the Ministry of Justice.
The final rules for the portal extension were published by the MoJ on 12 July, just over two weeks before the new arrangements are set to come into force on 31 July.
The programme extends the ceiling
