Safety standards represent 'unfair' changes to workplace law

The Association of Personal Injury Lawyers has warned that the government's proposed changes to the Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Bill are "a licence for rogue bosses to let safety standards fall".

Apil is asking the government to drop the Clause 61 amendment, which is due to be debated in the House of Lords this afternoon. The Bill's committee stage discussions are due to finish on Thursday.

FCA looking to address issues on claims definitions

Andrew Ruddle, the Financial Conduct Authority’s interim head of the department for insurance market analysis and policy, has said the regulator is looking at addressing issues about different claims definitions within insurance.
