18 December: Posing peacock

18-dec

Peacocks aren’t considered a traditional family pet, but one family couldn’t imagine life without theirs until one afternoon…

Having settled down to watch some Saturday television, the family were alerted by a very loud high-pitched cry.

Rushing out to the front of the house, they were greeted by the sight of their peacock displaying its brightly coloured plumage and attacking the family car.

Spotting its own reflection in the door of the family saloon, the distressed animal mistook it for a rival male and attacked the vehicle with such ferocity it dealt significant damage to the paint and bodywork.
