Lost or stolen cameras are probably one of the more common travel insurance claims. But the nature of this one was slightly more imaginative than the usual.

Taking in the sights and animals at Sea World in Orlando, Florida, one young adventurer over-stretched when trying to get a picture of one of her favourite sea mammals - the sea lion.

However, her excitement turned to dismay as she lost her grip on the camera and dropped into the pool. Thinking it was feeding time, the sea lion mistakenly took the shiny new camera for lunch, dived in after it and gobbled it up.
