CBG Group lands surety bond deal

Insurance broker CBG Group has signed a deal to provide a £700 000 performance bond for the Smith Group UK as part of a multi-million pound construction project.

The collateral deposit issued by an insurance company or bank to guarantee the satisfactory completion of a project-typically covers 10% of a contract’s value.
