Lawsuits between Lloyd's underwriters and South Western Bell Telephone Company in the US over computer leasing risks are unlikely to be tried until later this year.

The action alleges that corruption and bribery was involved when the equipment was installed in the firm's premises by Intercap Leasing Corporation in 1977 and so any insurance claims against Lloyd's
