Axa buys ING Seguros for $1.5bn
AXA announced it has bought ING's Mexican insurance subsidiary ING Seguros, for $1.5 bn.
In 2007, ING Seguros is expected to post revenues of $1.9 bn and a combined ratio of around 105%.
Axa said in a release that Seguros has "leading positions" in motor, health and life insurance.
