Compensation Bill comes under immediate scrutiny
The Constitutional Affairs committee has launched an inquiry into the compensation culture and contingency fees, which coincides with the introduction of the government's Compensation Bill.
The committee, which scrutinises government policy but does not have powers itself, is looking whether there is a growing compensation culture in Britain, and whether new laws are really necessary orOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
