Insurance industry could face £28.6bn bill if Law Lords’ decision on pleural plaques is overturned
Specialist loss adjuster Garwyn has warned of the possible implications to the insurance industry following the publication of a Government consultation paper on asbestos-related condition pleural plaques.
The paper considers what the most appropriate way of supporting people diagnosed with the condition would be following the Law Lords’ decision on 17th October 2007 that pleural plaques are notOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
