Allianz sees GI profit drop slightly as premium growth stalls
Allianz has reported an operating profit of 2.1bn euros and net income of 1.5bn euros for the second quarter of 2008. For the half-year its operating profit was 4 bn euros and net income 2.7bn euros.
In the second quarter Allianz saw total revenues decrease to 22.0bn euros, compared to 24.3bn euros in the same period of 2007. Operating profit decreased by 36 percent to 2.1 bn euros, from 3.3 bn
