Ibeson appointed Catlin UK CEO
Specialty (re)insurer Catlin has announced that David Ibeson, currently chief executive of the Catlin Syndicate at Lloyd’s, has also been appointed chief executive of Catlin Insurance Company UK. This follows the resignation of Andreas Loucaides, former chief executive of Catlin UK, who is rumoured to re-appear in the market at another Lloyd's player.
Catlin UK specialises in underwriting commercial non-life insurance and wrote gross premiums totalling £222m (US$439m) in 2007.Only users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
