Insurer in fire epidemic warning
Figures released yesterday by Zurich Municipal, indicate that school fires cost an estimated £67m in 2005 - a £16m reduction from the previous year and the lowest figure in half a decade.
However, ZM warned early indications show that this is not the start of a downward trend and that in March this year alone, school fires cost an estimated £22m, compared to a monthly average of £5.5m
