JLT expects only "modest improvement" in 2006
Jardine Lloyd Thompson today admitted it only expected a “modest improvement” in group fortunes during 2006 as it reported lower profits for the year ended 31 December 2005. Fees and commissions climbed to £484.4m (2004: £468.1m), while profit before tax dropped to £73.8m (2004: £85.0m).
