Broker in liquidation after FSA discovers 40 000 bogus policies
PriceWaterhouse Coopers has been brought in as provisional liquidators for Edinburgh-based broker Tribune Risk and Insurance Services, after it was discovered thousands of household policies had been sold without insurance cover.
No criminal investigation has been instigated to date, although a spokeswoman at Lothian and Borders Police confirmed on Friday it has communicated with the Financial Services Authority on the matterOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
