Chubb boosts London team

Chubb Europe has appointed Andrew McKee as manager of its London operation and Andy Francis as UK & Ireland marketing manager.

Chris Giles, CEO Chubb Europe, said: “I am delighted that we are announcing these two senior appointments. Andrew and Andy both have a proven track record in the insurance market and have both played a full part in Chubb Europe’s success in recent years.

“The two roles are very much ‘market-facing’ for which they both have a wealth of experience. They have built up excellent reputations with brokers over the years and both will play pivotal roles in ensuring that we continue to be successful in the years ahead.”

Andrew McKee’s main responsibilities will be the development of the total portfolio in London and for overseeing the strategic development of the branch. Andy Francis’ main responsibilities will be to lead the sales culture internally and externally with responsibility for rolling out sales and marketing initiatives across the business areas and implementing best in the UK & Ireland.

Andrew McKee joined Chubb in 1992 and has held a number of roles first in Ireland and then the UK, mostly in property insurance. In 2001, Andrew was appointed to run the Chubb UK and Ireland Commercial Insurance operation. Andy Francis joined Chubb in 1995. He was appointed Birmingham branch manager in 2001. Since 2005, Andy has held the combined role of Birmingham branch manager alongside running the regional UK & Ireland Specialty Insurance operation.

Best Insurance Employer 2021

Between 15 March and 15 May Post invited insurance employees, through emails, social media and via the brand’s print and online channels, to nominate and rate their employers on a variety of aspects including their management, diversity, work/life balance and whether they would recommend the employer to a friend. More than 2300 responses were received and more than 50 firms were nominated.
