Motor accidents account for 72% of PI claims, reveals PIAB
Ireland's Personal Injuries Assessment Board has found that 72% of all personal injury claims processed by the board in 2007 arose from motor accidents.
The PIAB’s analysis of motor liability awards last year also found that men secure higher average compensation despite making fewer claims for motor accidents.
